awesome! how do you know when its solid enough to walk on?
Well there were snowmobiles out there the day before we were so that was pretty good indication it was thick enough! Luckily that pond is pretty shallow so even if it did break we'd only have a short wet walk back to our house. For walking you only need a few inches of ice.
